Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, unveils an Android UI overhaul for exclusive beta testers. The latest reports from WABetaInfo detail how this feature is part of the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.21.12, now live on Google Play. The enhanced interface, inspired by Material Design 3, introduces fresh icons, colors, chat bubbles, and a floating action button. Notably, a new green hue enhances the updated dark and light themes.

WABetaInfo reports that a select group of testers in the WhatsApp Business beta have already experienced these UI enhancements. Gradual roll-out is anticipated in the weeks to come. Thus, your Android device may soon access the revamped WhatsApp UI.

In related developments, WhatsApp explores a dedicated reply bar designed for images and videos on Android. There are also hints of an iPad-compatible version on the horizon.

Last month, WhatsApp's parent company, Meta, teamed up with Microsoft to integrate Bing Search into Meta's AI chatbot, marking a significant collaboration in the tech world.
